Kota is a white gender/queer bodyworker and facilitator whose offerings joyfully centers the needs and desires of trans* and gender deviant community. Their practice is informed by Swedish massage, scar release and somatic sex education.

Manna is a racialised queer, trans allied scarwork therapist who specializes in scar healing post gender affirming surgeries. As a community weaver she is passionate about coordinating accessible healing spaces for queer, trans and BIPOC communities.

About: holistic care supporting pre & post gender related surgeries

The Trans Care clinic offers bodywork and workshops from trans and queer trans allied practitioners.

We offer care specifically for those gendering differently : 2 Spirit, Trans, Genderqueer, Non-Binary, Gender Non-Conforming and Intersex people.

Within this specificity, we center access for low-income BIPOC, migrants and refugees, Intersex people, community members navigating trans-misogyny and disability.

Many practitioners involved in this project specialize in holistic pre-and post-op support for gender-related surgeries.

All gender expansive folks are welcome regardless of medical transition status.

What We Offer:

  • Scar tissue remediation supports scar healing, circulation, tissue health and mobility

  • Lymphatic Drainage for pre/post surgery healing support.

  • Acupuncture for pre and post-op care to support nerve regeneration

  • Cupping and fascial work to improve circulation and tissue health

  • Reiki and Massage Therapy for energetic healing & nervous system support.

    Potential Workshops: eg, therapeutic stretching, queer embodiment & mindful movement

    Bam’s practice follows the principles of Dr Richard Teh-Fu Tan’s Balance Method. As a transgender woman of colour, Bam is highly aware of the importance of equity in healthcare, offering trans-specific scar care & a healing safe space for trans/non-binary/queer community.
